Race: Human
Class: Mage
Job: Orphan. She's very good at it.
Racial Hostility: Anyone who doesn't feel right
Physical Description: Karla is a small young girl, standing at about 3 foot 7. She has short green hair and wears a long blue cloak that doubled as a blanket until she entered the orphanage. She is inseparable from the green bound tome that her mother gave her to practice her letters in. It now also holds some of her spells. She wears a long skirt and boots. She is extremely cheerful and can often be found hanging around the Broken Shield when she is not at the orphanage...
Mental State: Sane.
Sample Paragraph: The little girl scurried up the steps to the public library, waving slightly to the guards. She pushed the heavy doors open just enough to slip inside and breathed a sigh of relief as the noise from the streets died away and the cooler air hit her face. She stood for a moment, relishing the smell of leather and dust, then started up the stairs to her right to the upper level. She wandered through the stacks, looking up at the rows of books stretching toward the ceiling. She finally stopped and reached up to pull down a tome she figured would be good for practicing her reading, nearly dropping it in the process. Sitting down, she pulled the book into her lap and opened to a random page. She began to sound out the words in a whisper so as not to disturb any of the other patrons. The words were unfamiliar to any she knew, yet figuring that she must simply not be pronouncing them correctly, she continued.
"Oh , radix of omnipotens , lux lucis quod exuro ultra crimen , permissum thy vox recolligo in meus manus manus."
She was understandably surprised when a wave of heat followed the final word. Looking up, she saw half of the shelf in front of her aflame. She gaped for a minute and would have continued had the magical alarms protecting the library not gone off at that moment, followed by a spray of water that drenched the entire aisle. Hearing voices yelling and feet running her way, she stood up shakily.
Karla gulped. "Oops?"
