She remained where she was watching him walk away. Why are Elves so aloof? she wondered. St the slight turning of his head she stepped toward him uncertain if her company were welcome. "If you have time after your meeting, perhaps we could play? Though I would prefer to harp out here rather than in a room I shall most likely be tired of." She did not mention that perhaps after his severance with the OTHER was complete, he might no longer wish her company. That the only reason he might seek her out was to succeed where the last Elf had failed in removing her from the realm of living.
As she walked toward him she smiled and added, "If you encourage them I shall have to play louder to hear my mistakes." It was a calm night and her feeling of discord faded to a buzz, like a worn string, beneath the surface of her hearing. She ignored it for now, there was nothing she could discern and no flora or fauna in the area seemed in immediate distress. Whatever it was, it was not an immediate threat to her or anyone important present.
