Pier #7 was closed to ships coming in and out that were not flying the standard of one Duke Alvin. Why the man felt the need to have his own pier that was only visited by a vessel once or twice a month was not of any actual concern to Ryon, but what did concern him was that it was always empty, and the guards were easy enough to bribe into taking a short hour or two long break from their patrols. All there was to do now was wait and hope that the Celestial would actually come around, Torm willing, she would before long.

The pier Karn indicated for the meeting was quiet. Millie made a quick magic scan of the area, satisfied that there were no foreign magicks around, except for Shar's aura, "I'm here Sir Knight..." Her cloak fluttered abit as a slight breeze blew through the docks.

Karn stepped out of the shadows and into the dim light, removing the hood of his cloak to show is face, "As am I. I have asked for Torm to protect us for this meeting, all seems safe as of now. We don't have long before the pier's guards return though."

Millie nodded as she too, removed her hood, assuring him that he's meeting the right person, "Tell me Sir Knight, how can you help me with my mission?" She decided to get to the point as to make sure this meeting goes through smoothly and quickly.

She was too the point, good. Finally an immortal who wasn't ridiculously patient, "My name lady Millihandred is Sir Ryon Phelps. I am a member of the Holy Order of the Most Radiant Heart and devout follower of Torm. I was sent here when the order discovered your presence in Graycastle to assist you in whatever task has been set to you by the gods."
He took a breath and continued, "I am what is known as a Gray Guard to the common folk."

Millie nodded as she listened to the grizzled knight, "On a honest note, besides gathering information, I'm to do nothing else..." She sighed turning to look at the water, "There are elements within the celestials that are willing to wipe this city off the map of Toril... And the time I've spent here clearly showed me that not every mortal in this city are evil."

A short paused followed, "I will need to know what the Graycastles and their Dark Goddess are planning, Sir Phelps... for now."

Karn nods his head to the celestial, "An endeavor I am most qualified for. I could pose as a mercenary looking to join the guard, and work my way up through the ranks if milady wishes."

"Its a huge risk you are undertaking Sir Phelps..." Millie gave a worried look, "The brothers are dangerous enough, what about the Matron and Shar?" As much as she held him in respect due to his age, regardless whether he's mortal or not, the risk is too great, "Also, working up through the ranks will take years, which may take a toil on you physically..."

A knife in the right back, poison in the right glass, and a duel at the proper time is all I need to raise through the ranks with rapid speed and relative ease."
When he was a young man words like that would have tasted like poison rolling off his tongue, now he felt nothing when saying them; evil men must be punished, Karn was but the tool for that punishment.

Millie stopped and turned back to look at the knight, "What do you need Sir Knight?" She was rather puzzled as there wasn't anymore stuff she can offer him, unless a blessing or two.
